Google Caffeine and Search Results

Bookmark and Share

A much awaited Google Caffeine was out in June last year, which provides 50 percent fresher results for web searches. Whether it is a news story, a blog or a forum post, you can now find links to relevant content much sooner after it is published than was possible ever before. Google claims it as the largest collection of web content they ever offered.

The birth of Caffeine is believed to keep up with the evolution of the web and to meet rising user expectations and make real time searches. Caffeine means that new pages will be shown much quicker on Google’s result pages and it takes up nearly 100 million gigabytes of storage in one database and adds new information at a rate of hundreds of thousands of gigabytes per day. After Caffeine was introduced, several changes and enhancements also occur in the past few months.

Search Engine Marketing Experts were expected Caffeine since December 2009 and have their plans already built up to change SEO for their websites. Websites may require additional changes and review to be easily indexed on top of the search result pages and minimize the Caffeine impact. For a consistent position on top of the SERP, you should constantly update your website content and link to quality pages in terms of both, inbound and outbound links. The highest rated links are created organically through viral marketing and social media platforms, articles and press releases.
