In October 2010, Adobe announced the launch of next generation of Acrobat software, the Acrobat X (Acrobat Ten). Acrobat X software will help you create high-impact PDF communications, collaborate more easily, and streamline reviews. This new software makes it easy to export documents to Microsoft’s Word and Excel software. It can also create PDF Portfolios that bring together multiple file types. Users can also include remote content such as websites and online video inside the PDF Portfolio.
The release lineup includes Acrobat X Standard, Acrobat X Pro, Acrobat X Suite (includes Photoshop CS5, Acrobat X Pro, Presenter 7, Captivate 5, Media Encoder CS5, Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES2), Adobe Reader X, Acrobat.com document exchange services. The Acrobat Reader X has great features of commenting with sticky notes and highlighter tool, which will also be compatible with mobile devices such as Android and Windows Phone 7.
Acrobat X Pro users will become more productive with the use of ‘Actions’. Adobe’s Pro software lets you deliver professional PDF communications, create and edit PDF files, add a watermark and share information with enhanced security.
